Photoshop Beginner

My first real photoshop project was to take one manmade item and an item found in nature and composite those together to make an image.

I chose a nail head and a leaf. I began the project by isolating the nail head and the leaf. Then using multiple layers I began piecing the items together to make a fish. The other component of the project was balance. I chose the symmetrical route to balance my composite.

I am so excited with how it turned out! I am a photoshop newb and tackling this project made me realize that photoshop and all the layers are not that difficult to understand.
